Mr. Kester Ukagu

Kester Ukagu is a seasoned banker with 25 years’ experience cutting across the commercial and microfinance banking sectors. Throughout his career, he has successfully steered core corporate functions for prominent financial institutions, including United Bank for Africa (UBA), Citizens Bank, Intercontinental Bank, and Access Bank. His deep operational expertise spans branch operations, internal controls, inspection, IT audit, credit, and marketing.

Currently, Ukagu serves as the Head of the Loan Recovery Unit and Compliance Officer at Okada Microfinance Bank Limited, where he ensures strict regulatory alignment and protects the institution's asset quality.

Mr. Kester holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Second Class Upper Division) from the prestigious University of Benin. He is also a designated Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB), combining rigorous academic grounding with specialized industry credentials to deliver value in the banking sector.
